I don't recall receiving the email. I suspect many sellers might have misunderstood it and assumed the services had been added, and the seller could turn them on if they wished.
It doesn't change the fact that eBay added those options to seller accounts with them automatically turned on. It's one thing to add them as an option, but forcing a seller to go into their account to switch them OFF, during a likely busy and stressful working week, is not acceptable to me and is a sly way of imposing new policies. Things like this should be a choice, not an imposition we have to remember to remove.
Unfortunately as a seller I cannot access the option today's buyer chose - InPost, so this will likely result in a lost sale.
