Near the beginning of this thread I posed the question that if so many demonstrably think £53 for those under £25 and £70 for those over is not enough to live on then what do people think the correct figure should be?
Bearing in mind of course that the figure should be set at a level that makes finding a job worthwhile.
Nobody seems to have ventured an opinion.
The basic state pension is £110 and in my opinion the basic JSA should be at this level for at least the first three months. After the initial period then I don't see how the country could continue to pay JSA at this level.
