We stopped being a military super power a hundred years ago - the sooner we accept this the sooner we'll stop wasting our resources and be able to put them to good use.

If we spent 100% of our GDP on weapons there is nothing we could do to stop one of the real super powers from destroying us - it's time we woke up to this.
