Do you really think these men have travelled Lord knows how many miles, suffered goodness knows what hardships and faced untold dangers to come to the UK for £36 a week and a bed in a hostel 😮   They've come here because they believe, rightly or wrongly, that there is an opportunity for them to work - to earn a living and support their families.    If some of our unemployed put just one tenth of the effort, showed just one tenth of the initiative, one tenth of the willingness to move around the country and face just one tenth of the hardships these men have endured in order to better themselves we might find this country would be going forwards rather than backwards.
