The only end day facing this Earth is when the Sun starts to die, expands and roasts the Earth to a crisp cinder.

Says you, but the belief that that is what will happen is based purely on the trust you have in what the scientific community say will happen.  Maybe we need to allow a little scepticism in our total belief in what we are told. 🙂
