No, it's not the same as video games where the object seems to be to outwit and "kill" as many of your "enemies" as possible and you walking past a shop once a day isn't the same as wierd people spending hours and hours, often for days and days locked in "combat".
It's not long ago when there was either life-changing violence or a killing (can't remember the details) where a bloke (it's always a bloke innit?) was angry because he'd been disturbed while he was playing one of those games.
It's life Jim, but not as WE know it.
Live long and prosper.

When you've done all sorts of things, then stop and re-start the game again, all the "people" you've "killed" have all come back to life again.....
Fantasy/reality all mixed up?
I doubt they are a huge problem but then we don't have such games in the house! Probably more of an issue that they are not outside blowing off steam.

A few years ago a report by Parity suggested that more than a third of domestic violence occurred where the male was the victim!
There seems to be very little support for such individuals.
If the man is the guilty party there are immediate calls for him to be incarcerated without bail, (in many cases the best answer), but I have never seen calls for similar action to be taken against a female.
There are refuges set up for women to escape to with their children and social services support for women to keep them and their children together - there is very little such support for men or their children where it is the woman who is the guilty party.
One of very few support groups for men is the Mankind Initiative

Yep, I was a victim 20 years ago, my course of action was for us to go our seperate ways, but that's not so easy for some, especially if children are involved!
