Of course there is always the chance he was rightly found guilty.  We won't really ever know will we.

I really dont think there is any doubt he is guilty. They took a long time probably to go over and over the facts to be sure!.

Absolutely, but to suggest someone with a sexual attraction for post-pubescent children is the same as someone attracted to prepubescent children is also wrong!

If a school teacher had a sexual encounter with a 16 year old pupil they would be guilty of breaking the law that prevents them from taking advatage of a position of responsibility. If the pupil was 15 they would also be guilty of having sex with a minor, but neither of these are acts of paedophilia. However the headlines in the papers and the mobs on the street would be shouting 'Paedophile', because it makes headlines, rouses emotions and people don't know what they're talking about! I get fed-up of such ignorance!

No neither should be tolerated but I don't believe we should label people so flippantly! People should either get it right or keep schtum in my opinion.
