Interesting article Joe - have to admit though that I have never come across anyone that fits the description of those she is referring to.

Strange that she didn't mention something that does seem to support her thesis that there is a growing problem - that of abortion.  It seems to be generally accepted by many, both within the medical professions and the general population, that it is perfectly reasonable to abort foetuses that show signs of a disability.
