Question about sellers fees

Hi please could someone help I sell regularly on eBay I'm a bit confused 🤦‍♀️

last weekend I had an offer of 80% off variable fees.  I listed before midnight Monday a plumbers clamp under 2kg and it was small parcel. I sold for £109.00 with free postage and my fees surprised me much more than I thought it would be.. my total fees were £14.72 is it because of the category? Or something else? And if that is with 80% off the fees will be extortionate if not sold within the 30 days

I think it's probably because the offer doesn't apply to listings offering more than 1 item.

You listed 2 of them on one listing. The 80% offer is only for single items (always read the T&Cs!). This is because they are for private sellers, just selling off their own unwanted items, so they don't really have more than one. 
Multiple listings are more for business sellers.
