Hi. Any advice please on why a highest bidder is telling me there is a '20% vat will apply' message on his bid. I am a UK registered seller and he is a UK registered buyer.
May be a glitch. VAT @ 20% is inclusive on all UK >< UK sales, ...but...
Even with an item showing as beinglocatedin the UK, ifeitherthe buyerorseller uses an account thatis or hasbeen Registeredoutside the UK site at any time, it will automatically trigger an additionalUK 20% VAT Import feepayable to HMRC/UK Government >

Thanks. It must be the potential buyer as it has never happened on my sales before. To avoid a potential non-payment of winning bid, I will just cancel their bid and move on. very disappointing for all.
