Ok here's a genuine question for our experts. I've purchased an item which is about to be returned , from a seller who's profile says Location China, home page says USA warehouse. The seller has issued a return label,,,,to Amazon location about 25 miles from my home in central Scotland. My question is, why have i been charged VAT, on an item originating in the UK? I've checked, and this item is from Amazon stock, not from the sellers country nor personal inventory.
