FM code

As a seller, an item was sold, tracking number was provided and item was delivered to customers desired click & collect location but he can't claim it/pick it up as eBay hasn't provided him with an 'FM code' - as the seller, is there anything I can do my end?

Nope,  but you can advise the buyer to contact eBay Customer Services, and they will provide that essential code.

 

Also, remind your buyer they only have 7 days from being notified the item is in store,  to then pick up the item.  When that time lapses,  the store will not hold it any longer,  and can dispose of it as they wish.

Thanks for the reply 👍🏻 Item was delivered last Tuesday (confirmed by tracking number) 

 

When you say 'dispose as they wish' I'm assuming you mean they won't return back to me, the sender? 

How can eBay not provide the code to the buyer whilst holding my funds?
