You're right Alec it will be very interesting to see what it sells for.  The 22 badges that were sold separately fetched £836!! (if my maths are correct), and I think our colleague blueboybaz was the proud recipient of that windfall.

 

It's good to see one or two posts from new members talking about the value of collecting albums or loose sets.  I started collecting again 10 years ago with the intention of obtaining all World Cups and European Championships albums (something I did achieve at a price), but soon realised that there was probably more value in collecting loose sets.

 

I am very fortunate that I have managed to obtain some of those loose sets and would definitely recommend going down down that road if cash flow permits.

 

The great thing about Panini stickers is that they do not feature in any of the trade catalogues, such as Murrays, therefore do not attract as much attention from general football trade card dealers.  However, the enthusiast knows how much these beauties can be worth.:-D
