Previously it would include the predictive text box above the keyboard,  this has now vanished so any searches you do have to be typed in full,  also to add to this if you need to edit part of your search term the cursor jumps to the end of the search phrase at every edit making a change in the middle of it a frustrating process as the cursor defaults to the end

The apps do tend to have regular updates each time a newer version is released. Can you let me know when you noticed these specific changes to the search function and I'll report it from my end.
