In the UK, bladed items can be sold and delivered only to customers aged 18 or older. As such you will need to verify your age. You may also need to confirm your age upon delivery. For more details see our Knives policy

this statement has no relevance to hedge trimmers as its not UK policy ,it should say , eBay's policy in the UK is that bladed items , and should be amended so it does not mislead ,

it could just say in the UK we drive on the left hand side of the road,
