I tried buying a hedge trimmer but need to verify my age and need a credit card to do so, i do not have a credit card so how can i spend my ebay balance without needing a credit card to verify my age (customer services always know i have been on here 22 years ) also this came up

this statement has no relevance to hedge trimmers as its not UK policy ,it should say , eBay's policy in the UK is that bladed items , and should be amended so it does not mislead ,
it could just say in the UK we drive on the left hand side of the road,
