If you choose to have both couriers as your postage preferences for simple delivery eBay take  into account many factors including the buyer’s location, the item's location, distance to the carrier's drop-off locations, the most appropriate delivery service for the item you're posting, and whether the buyer has selected a standard or express delivery service.

With simple delivery  eBay offers full coverage for items lost or damaged in transit.
