Hi!
What would be your top tips to help increase my listing page views and impressions? Both figures are down to almoust 40% within the last month. And of course it does have an impact on sales. How to get that back in most efficient way?
Thanks!
Thanks for reaching out.
Starting with the basics and optimising listings to work better with best match is one of the best ways to increase your visibility.
To optimise your listings, we recommend starting with your titles and images as these constitute your “shop window”. The more closely your title reflects a buyer’s search terms, the higher the chance they will find it. So put yourself in their shoes and follow our best practices. The first 3 words in a title are the most important.
Best practice for titles:
Do put the brand name first — this will catch a buyer’s attention.
Do focus on the first 3 keywords — they are most important and should be words buyers would use in their search.
Do use the 80 available characters. The more detail the title has, the better your search visibility and relevance.
Do use Terapeak Product Research to research your competition and see what titles are already performing well. This is free for all Seller Hub users.
Do not include brand names or keywords unrelated to the item you’re selling — this is keyword spamming
Do not use special characters or emojis.
Do not include false or misleading information — especially regarding the item’s condition.
Do not include exclamation marks, all-caps, or words like “wow” — they are wasted keywords and do not perform well in eBay search.
Its also worth looking at the number of photos you have on you're listings, as a general rule you should have a minimum of 5.
You should also have as many specifics as possible. Unlike the description, specifics are fully attachable. Here you have the option to create your own, so you can use search terms that buyers use that don't fit in the titles.
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Dave
