I asked 2 weeks ago if eBay knew it was Easter, I asked last week for eBay to look at the unrealistic delivery times shown to buyers.

On Saturday night I did some screen prints of items and their estimated delivery times and it seems either one or both of the above need urgent attention.

The items show the wrong amount of days for delivery.

The RM48 - 2nd class shows 3- 4 days for delivery, yet estimated it to be 2-3
The 1st class post is clear winner as it shows delivery faster than next day delivery by either DHL or Royal Mail Special Delivery??
Seems the DHL and Special Delivery is also wrong, as that shows 1 day more than it should take.

Here are some example, I have a lot that were checked on Saturday night at thereabouts 11pm and where the earliest the item could have been posted or sent would be Tuesday 11th

How is an item posted Tuesday arriving between 13th - 14th with 3-4 days postage?

That is only 2-3 days as you do not count the day you post it, unless eBay are also counting Easter Monday as the day we are supposed to post it??

Hence my question 2 weeks ago asking if eBay knew it was Easter, as I knew this would not work as it didn't

That is only half the problem.

Buyers are being shown 1-2 days delivery with RM48 - 2nd class post, as my post in the live chat last week.

Can eBay actually look at this as there is something clearly wrong and a - I will forward it to the team as feedback - reply is not going to get it fixed.

It is with frustration that I am writing this again this week. I am not having a go, I just want the issue to be taken seriously and looked at as it is clearly broken and obvious to all of the sellers judging by how many threads and posts there are on here.

Buyers are being misled, that is causing a lot of extra work for sellers responding to why items are not actually late and that is why they have not arrived.

We are all spread thin in these challenging times for us all and it is just not fair for the issue to not even be acknowledged fully, let alone anyone fix the problem.

In my post last week, I suggested instead of the dynamic estimated delivery dates, just add the actual amount of days to the shipping as the Royal Charter says, then see if and how that works rather than the way it is now as what is currently happening is not working.

eBay are making it look like hard working honest sellers are lying to the buyers, as the buyers say that we put the estimated delivery dates there. I am tired of replying the same thing again, that eBay put the dates there and we have no control.

All I ask is that if eBay insist on putting estimated dates there, then please make sure it works, the system can count, knows when it is a bank holiday and at least add the right amount of days for the shipping.
