Can some look at the eBay item descriptions on a desktop to solve the chaotic nature of how they are shown.

Lets face it, it is already difficult enough to get buyers to read the description anyway...

Can someone at eBay put their hand up and tell me why something so basic as just showing the actual description from the seller, that is a material part of the contract of sale, sometimes shows up in at least 3 different ways on the same day, on the same browser, on the same PC?

Is this a technical issue?

Is this a soft roll out of a new feature to see which members prefer?
Is this another part of the streamlining eBay's features akin to the one that stops us from seeing sales history that we asked about in last week's chat?

Does at eBay anyone even know this is happening?

Sometimes shows full description correctly?

Sometimes shows description collapsed with a pull down box to scroll down with to be able to read it all?

Sometimes hides it almost entirely, with a button to click to show more?

We put a ginormous amount of time and effort into making item description with our own photos of actual products, fully filled out item specifics, fully filled out eBay vehicle compatability, fully tailored descriptions of the items, full populated pull down down showing vehicle compatibility in the description; the whole shooting match. Some of our listings take more than a whole working day to even make...

So it is not very fair when we do all of that, to try our absolute hardest to provide all the information to the buyer so that they can make a full informed decision whether to order or not, for it then to be hidden...

It is difficult enough getting our listings even found with the search seeming to fight against us, with a compatibility tool that doesn't work properly on the app, with all the millions of duplicate listings from some sellers that eBay are still yet to solve no matter how much we ask, on top of the description being basically hidden from buyers when using the app already.
If we ever do get anyone to look at our items, now we have to contend with eBay not even showing the description on a PC either?

As always, any help appreciated.

Cheers

Russ
