Hi
i’m just wondering how I stand when the delivery has gone to a buyers safe space, but seems missing?
Also it took them 6 days to say it’s missing. I sent it tracked and there is a picture of it on the tracking.
thanks

eBay will normally go by the tracking. So if that shows delivery the buyer probably wouldn't win a "not received" case. Even if they managed to persuade ebay otherwise, if you're a private seller and used Simple Delivery ebay would issue the refund themselves and you keep the payment.

Hi
Thanks for the info.
It’s not solved as the buyer is now asking for a refund, they have apparently checked around with neighbours to see if got by mistake.
But thing is, the package was delivered to their safe place, photographed, which as per buyer was not their safe place and the buyer took nearly 6 days to contact me, saying I should get my money back from Royal Mail.
As a gesture, I’m prepared to offer half the money back, as I only have their word to go off.

You do not have to offer half or any money as you completed your side of the transaction, that is, you had tracking which showed delivery to the buyer's home, where it was left, is out of your control.
Ask your buyer to open a case for item not received.
If this was a Simple Delivery transaction, eBay will fully refund the buyer, and you get to keep the payout.
If it wasn't you enter the tracking number into the case details, showing delivery you will not need to refund and the case will close.

You don't need to offer them anything. You have full ebay seller protection as long as tracking shows delivery.
Just tell them to open a case for item not received. If you didn’t use simple delivery your tracking will protect you, if you used simple delivery then ebay handles everything.
