Seller cancelled my order for no valid reason stating that it's only uk shipping.I shared my address of my UK courier company but the seller just ghosted me.

Some sellers are nervous about using UK parcel forwarding addresses, or they don't understand that as long as they send to the address given to them via ebay they are still covered for loss or damage. Hopefully you will find the item with another seller.

The seller will not be penalized as they cannot be forced to sell their item.
However, if they cancelled due to an out of stock reason they will receive a defect on their account.
Did you have this forwarding Company's address selected at eBay checkout? Or, did you just send them a message afterwards to post there?

naive to bid for something if I knew it was not possible to be shipped to
my location.But the listing had a postage fee, so? If the seller had doubts
they could have first communicated for clarity. They have to be penalized
for time wasting and violating ebays guidelines and rules. Therefore in my
conclusion I think the seller cancelled to avoid the defect and also that
my winning bid did not meet their expectation

What excuse did the seller use for cancelling? If they said ' Buyer requests to cancel' then you can, if you wish, contact Customer Services, explain you did not cancel and was disappointed not to receive your item.
CS will not tell you of any action they may take, but they could place a defect on the seller's account.

You do realise that using a forwarding agent, once delivered to them you have no protection through ebay for loss in post.
There is no way to make a seller honour a sale, and to them No overseas Sales means just that, so what they should really do is block sales to all countries outside the UK.
Ebay will not penalise, but you should still. be able to leave feedback.

guidelines/rules. I'm okay with a seller cancelling an order if they
communicate properly. What bothered me is that the seller ghosted me when I
asked for reasons for the cancellation. Such behavior should be addressed.

Some sellers are just bad communicators. Another point and we hear this daily is that messages are not reaching members, this could have happened here.

Please do see this in the circumstance it falls into... that is, it's really not that important to lose nerves, sleep and raise the pulse over a seller who seems to be a bad communicator, there are many.
Is the item available elsewhere?
