Seller Not Collecting the return Item

I purchased an item on eBay, but the seller sent the wrong item. I opened a return request and sent the item back using Royal Mail.

Royal Mail attempted to deliver the return to the seller three times, but the seller was not available to receive it. Now Royal Mail has stopped attempting delivery and the item has not been collected by the seller.

 

I’m not sure what will happen with my refund in this situation since I have already completed the return process from my side.

Attempted/refused delivery should count in your favour however you will need to probably escalate the case that you have open, and you may also need CS to intervene by talking to them and showin gthe tracking on the RM website etc.
