I'm glad you finally got your payment.

The progress feedback has to stay the same because that is the status of the original label you decided not to use. As there is no link between the Post Office and eBay, there was no new tracking number added.

As a user of eBay, it is up to us to keep up to date on the latest announcements. 14 and 30 day holds have been a thing for a while. The latest announcements can be found at the bottom of any eBay page, and the eBay community forum home page (just before the list of user questions begin). They've been making constant changes recently, so I'd definitely check them often, especially if you intend to carry on selling.

eBay are telling the truth, they aren't lurking around. You made a choice to ignore the label provided and purchased your own. Whatever you purchase over a Post Office counter is in no way linked to your eBay account. If they were blaming the Post Office, the only way, I'd imagine, is if they thought the PO employee hadn't scanned the original label, but we now know you didn't present the original label, you bought your own label and presented the parcel with that one on. Your new label was scanned; the original label remained unused, stuck in a perpetual  "We're Expecting It". They didn't leave you in Limbo. You technically left Royal Mail and the original tracking number in Limbo by choosing not to use it.

eBay would not blame the Post Office for not delivering a parcel, because the Post Office don't deliver parcels. Royal Mail, a separate company, are the carrier, and are the one that eBay has a contract with.

Again, I am pleading with you to update the feedback you left for your buyer. That feedback you left was specifically for them. Everyone who sells to them will believe they are a non payer, thanks to the scathing feedback you left them 😞 I'm assuming they haven't been on eBay to see it yet. You are at risk of receiving a negative feedback from them for tarnishing their reputation, and an official report for feedback abuse. As I mentioned previously, seller's aren't allowed to leave negative comments for buyers under the guise of a positive @89tone06
