When we search we can just heart something to add to the watch list without clicking into the item. I notice that on mine sometimes with 0 views and a watcher, it just tells me it’s likely a half hearted buyer or someone who is going to come back later and view it when they have more time. 

With the views debate, who knows. I don’t really care what they do as long as the item is visible. I’ve got some stamp auctions running now, I knew when I put a couple up this may be a total waste of time and sure enough they have 0 views in over 4 days. Others that I thought may be worth a go have a lot more views, a couple of watchers and 1 has got a bid. I don’t know a lot about stamps but I trust eBay enough to know if they were any cop they’d get some interest and if not I’ll just accept it was a mistake on my part to put them up.
