Thanks for clarifying some of the verbiage. I could see there were anomalies. In some of the diverse replies. Royal Mail or P.O. That is not the issue. The Posties had linked up with the ebay label and on the acceptance and transport data..I did not tell e bay the parcel was in the post. It was inputted by the carrier. All spot on there.Delivered next day with pic . The carrier is a trusted partner with ebay.
My problem. with the system. How could the carrier and ebay be linked for carriage actions data---but not for the delivery data.It must be both or none.
I paid a fiver for the ebay Postal Label that was all to spec. £32 for the signed for postage and insurance for a £1200 loss.
E bay repeatedly insisted that the parcel had not been delivered.Tony
