So either PO have not liased with EBay or Ebay are at fault.?
But I paid £32 for a registered PO parcel which EBay claim was not delivered.
So -- not a hard question --- where is the item?

The Post Office does not provide tracking nor do they liaise with eBay; Post Office Limited and Royal Mail Group Ltd are separate companies and have been for quite a while.

eBay uses the tracking number provided by Royal Mail to determine whether the item was delivered - or attempted to be delivered - or not. The only tracking eBay will use to determine this is the online tracking you can see here when you enter the Royal Mail tracking number. If the tracking shown on that link - and only that link - does not show a delivery confirmation then your funds will be held.

Where the label is concerned you stated in your post #4 that you "downloaded it from EBay and they charged me about a fiveer for it". So, how did you purchase the label that was actually used and how much did you pay for it? The listing suggests it was a "Simple Delivery" label and you chose the "seller pays" option in the listing. Also, did you drop the item off at a Post Office counter and - if so - did they give you a Certificate of Posting?

A question you have already answered in your opening post:

"The buyer confirms he has the parts all good"

However, for the purposes of releasing your funds eBay requires an online delivery confirmation:

"In most cases, holds are lifted when we can confirm an order has arrived to the buyer, or when a case is resolved in the seller’s favour. We use end-to-end tracking to confirm a buyer has received their item."

As you don't have an online delivery confirmation eBay will hold your funds and release them at a future date provided the buyer doesn't open a case.

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.
