At least most of the kudos given to the announcement appears to have come from real businesses, not people who appear to have never bought or sold anything on ebay and whose only contribution to the boards appears to be 'liking' ebay announcements.

If it is App. only, which is what it seems, is it aimed at those who are glued to their mobiles ?  Or will those who use desk-tops soon find rows of videos all over the site under the guise of "Recommended" and "Related" etc. items?  If so the site will be slower, look more cluttered and distracting than ever.
