I use google shopping all the time when browsing or price researching.  I think they are still tweaking the new format but so far it's been a disaster for my sales on another site.  No visibility at all, whereas before I could find some of my items there every day of the week.  2024 - 28 sales, 2025 - 5 sales, 2026 - so far zero.

I've managed to get some of my searches to show ebid on the "Shops" filter but so far the only way to get individual items shown to the public is by heavy discounts and then only for 24 hours.

At the moment its virtually an ebay and etsy only advertising site, with the occasional other site mentioned, perhaps once or twice on a page.  

I hope either the public finds out how to use the new format to pull up some competition or someone complains about it.  I'd love to know who to complain to ?

It's a disgrace that US tech giants are dominating google shopping .uk to the almost total exclusion of UK sites, just like ebay uk filling searches with .com ads. unless buyers know how to use filters to keep them at bay.
