I see the monthly message from Eve describes the DHL collection aspect as 'even better' but I had not clocked that it would be mandatory. I should have known better with ebay as they love forcing their bad ideas on us. I presume that's for all oversize items regardless if your preference is RM not Evri/DHL. as RM cannot handle oversized (or maybe they can with Parcelforce but Ebay hasn't arranged that).
Do you know if they are offering extended hours collections for those of us who are out during the daytime? Even then it's not ideal as with young kids you don't want DHL people turning up at bedtime etc. especially if the slots are wide or they are not likely to turn up when expected. Sounds like right pain. They should give the option of DHL drop off even if only to a more limited set of locations that can accept oversized.
