As to the underlining, just mention it in your description.

It does happen. The worst ones are where they underline then fill the margin with their comments on the underlined text. Usually total b*ll*x, of course.

Mind you, with what you say is underlined, it could have been Mary Whitehouse's copy - she might have been planning an assault on the publishing industry.
