The requirement for Shipping with Age Verification only is intended to comply with UK law (specifically the Offensive Weapons Act 2019) and to enhance community safety, and is wholly inappropriate for heavy industrial machinery. The equipment I am sellling weighs 170Kg and could never be considered an "Offensive Weapon".

With heavy equipment, shipping can only be calculated with knowledge of the buyers postcode. There is no way to give an accurate blanket cost for shipping without knowing this. EBay is misinterpreting the Offensive Weapons Act 2019 and will force sellers to migrate to other platforms for selling industrial machinery.
