here is a funny historical bit which relates to the PIE puzzle, I came across this while I'm searching in Google 🙂

"Cromwell was convinced that pies were symbols of sexual peversion. This was picked up centuries later by Freud in his infamous 'pies and pussy' essay. Cromwell asserted that the makeup of a pie, and the process of eating it - of breaking the crust to devour the filling - was akin to 'penetrating an infected orafice'."
