Just spent an hour working on the spammer too - did some earlier, but computer was taking around 60 secs to move from one page to another- like treading glue.
I'm giving up for the moment though, as I've got to the ones that have three spammer posts in a row on them, so getting even more tedious. Will resume tonight!

tails, I think the spammer used the shorter threads, then it was quicker to post, avoiding looking for the end of any long ones.
