I am the pensioner that was 'duped' on the first day of the Treasure Hunt.
I now understand it much better. But as the person who did the scam: webfairtrade1 is now suspended why do I have to wait 30 days for 'resolution' ? E-bay know this was fraud and my money should be refunded to Paypal immediately. There was NO item - it was all fake and the uncertainty of whether or not this money will be redeemed or not is spoiling our Christmas.
In any case how come the money went out of Paypal so quickly - it surely did not reach 'scammer' that quickly as I often have to wait for Paypal to 'catch up' with my other transactions.And he/she were suspended pretty quickly.
Do you know what it feels like to think you have won and then find out you have been defrauded ?? Please can e-bay staff listen to this message as a matter of urgency !!
