Hya myshmosh...open up an account in photobucket, probably a separate one from one you would keep your own personal stuff in. You have to decide if you are allowing others to access it or if you are going to do all the updates yourself. Originally this one was available to others but i had to change the password as trolls changed the picture regularly so now i just do it myself. You can alter anything in 'my account'.
Once you have your image in photobucket, tick the wee white box next to it then go to the bottom of the screen and click generate html, ebay and img code. Use one of the top two codes as the one you will use when posting on ebay. you can preview the size before you use it.
Now the way i update the map is by keeping a master copy in my pc, update when i need to then delete the one in photobucket and upload the new one back into photb. Deleting there would temporarily remove the one on your post in ebay but once you reupload it will appear again presuming you do not alter the name of the actual image.
One bit of advice, which you may know. If you keep a master copy in your pc and update it always under a jpeg image then you may accumulate a lot of dirty marks as everytime you save it it makes the pixels larger or something so i usually save the master under a psp image then create a jpeg from that to upload to P/B.
