You must have found a scam rather than the winning page--you didn't have to 'bid a high amount'.

Chronotime your bid was for a scam...for jacobs crackers 😕

I once went on a treasure hunt with a nun and a farmer.
We were all very keen at first, but as the day dragged on our eyes got weary and our heads started to drop.

Then, as if by magic...the nun fell asleep.
The farmer(Jesus Christ himself) and I(me) found this very funny, so we decided to laugh.
After we stopped laughing, I removed a scone from my rucksack and proceeded to cut it in half so Jesus Christ himself and I could eat it on the sneak while the Nun(Nancy Kerrigan) slept. JC saw that it was good and ate it up yum.

Jesus Christ himself said to me "Thanks"
I said "Jesus Christ You're welcome!!"
Little did we know, that while Nancy Kerrigan slept and JC and I ate the scone something completely normal happened.
Made no odds to us!

After a nap, Nancy Kerrigan awoke, not remotely startled.
"That was spot on" she said, and the three of us proceeded to find the treasure and go home.

dirtyemu how do you know what i am bidding on?

OK so they won't necessarily start at 9am! So why am I sat here at 7:15??????

Also, can anyone tell me where the hints/clues appear from?

Just follow this link
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/treasurehunt/
I was just being nosy, couldn't sleep so thought I'd egt up early and get some listing ready....
This is all a bit to lateral for my brain.

#23 - you can perform a search (advanced search link in the top right-hand corner of the page) to see what someone is bidding on, selling, has previously won, has previously sold, etc...

The items you're bidding on are scams. The winning treasure hunt auctions don't require you to bid. They are fixed-price Buy It Now listings and disappear once someone buys them.

i am new to this do you have to look through every listing, or is it obvious when you have found it.

Strange thing is ive found two Alan Partridge items this morning, whilst searching for Cracker!

#27 - the item will be a fixed-price Buy It Now listing (no bidding). It will be obvious when you've found it as there will be a picture of the prize and some sort of congratulations message.

Is it me or hasn't the clue gone up yet?

it's 8:53am btw

Here's a story Richard. My mum's not talking to me coz I told her I was busy when she phoned me yesterday, my 2 dogs had my nice leather couch covered with mud, because I didn't take them for a walk and just let them run about the garden (where my newly planted bulbs have all been dug up), I virtually shouted at the Electricity man who came to read the meter telling him, "You know, this is a really bad time for this"! I'm diabetic and instead of eating proper meals I sat with a whole box of maltesers so that I didn't have to cook anything (takes too much time), didn't go to the loo all day and never even had a cup of tea. My house is an absolute tip because I never had time to tidy up, I'm also considering whether or not I should go to the doctor's appointment that I begged for over a week ago! I'm thinking I will go, but just to ask for tablets to keep me awake and ones for the massive headache I get from sitting in front of the pc for hours!

But it's all good fun! Today I'm getting a flask and sandwiches, my dogs have got two huge marrow bones and I have some of my clues already written down. I was thinking of asking the doc if he'll fit a catheter too!!

Good luck today to everyone, in particular myself.

Today's clue is Cracker, along with the hint 'Forget Robbie Coltrane'.

So how come today I can't see it and I've been refreshing since 7:15?

They've changed the format or something and it's not showing up for some people.

I had to turn Norton Internet Security off in order to get the page to load properly.

What is today's prize btw? Sorry for all the questions - IE is playing up and Firefox was working fine yesterday!

It's not showing on mine either.
