The Prince Of Tyre by Mitch Ellinmann. I'm 6 or 7 years into retirement and continue to suffer with arthritic knees after 40 years of walking behind greens mowers.Jane suffers with her knees as well and is 5 or 6 years retired. With our difficulty walking ,and the natural ageing process,we decided to get a Cocker Spaniel puppy !!!!!He,Elvis,is probably the only reason i get my boots on in the morning to give him his walk.I probably would be a lot less mobile.I am still living to greenkeeper rules and getting up around 5.00/5.30 every morning. After our walk,i get my household chores done before my legs get progressively more tired. So by mid afternoon i am usually done for.Generally in good health though so shouldn't complain.Sorry to hear Mr C paid you a visit but delighted you showed him the door.Family keep you going with cooking and taxi services etc,so i never complain about being useful. The time may come when we end up in the front window of "Mary Magdalene's Home For Retired Gentlefolk"dribbling down the front of our shirts, but keep the brain active and everything else should look after itself.Talk again tomorrow..
