In true Christmas spirit, perhaps a charity that would benefit everyone; young and old. When people in the UK are fortunate enough to have clean water at the turn of a tap, and people are dying in certain parts of the world through being forced to drink germ-ridden water - and dying miserable deaths - should we not try to give people the most important thing that life requires - WATER!
We all take it so much for granted and complain if we have to buy bottled water in a country where the tapwater is not potable.
Clean water will help the young, the old and other aged people stay healthier. It will save lives.
I vote for a charity that gets down to grass roots and enables communities to have fresh, clean water to drink.
