Auction all of the items then split the total equally between a number of lesser known worthy charities. There are many smaller charities that get overlooked because of bigger ones being able to afford to advertise. Charities such as "Samaritans purse" take out thousands of shoeboxes filled with gifts every Christmas to children in countries affected by war, poverty, natural disaster etc. They also rely on donations to buy medical equipment and supplies.
