Having spent the last 45 minutes or so on the phone,the situation is this;The A.A was my best quote at £246.30 fully comp.I was honest with them and told them about my troubles and it went up to £468.00 .I then got in touch with my current insurers(M&S) who after numerous calls to providers etc,informed me the g*t had already been paid out in November.Nobody has had the decency to inform me of this bombshell.Now,it seems,M&S may be the best quote at £340.00.At least i've got the mechanic on board.Also,i have no idea why this is so big.
