I just found SHARD_PUPPY on a DVD, must be from the old days when I was trying to get something to work on bro's Compaq. Tried to run it from the DVD in RAM on Asus G1Sn-AK014C (thinking that with 4gb RAM it should be like lightning), but once I'd selected the monitor resolution 1680x1050 the text went so seriously fuzzy I had to give up.

I've got an 80gb SATA drive that I could USB to netbook Advent 4211 (MSI Wind U100) which has 2gb RAM. Please tell me which Linux distro to install on it so I can plug it in and boot from it. Presuming that will work :)
