Well, I broke it twice over the weekend trying to get multiple monitors working properly. I gave up trying to make it work with my Ati graphics card and in the end pulled it out and banged in an Nvidia. That screwed things up royally and I just couldn't find a way to get the correct drivers or the Nvidia config tool installed. The secret seems to be to get it all working on the livecd before installing and everything is carried over.
