growing it up a cane is the best way, you can then just weedkiller the top and it goes right down into the plant. If the bindweed is in a shrub, this is the best way to do it. you can with plants you can reach, gently stretch out the bindweed and pull it out, this way you are weakening the plant continually, and in the end it gives up!   I've been using that new stick that you put on the leaves of weeds and so far.....     it's rubbish:_| I'm just waiting to see if the weeds are growing out of themselves and then they die, or if they are just growing because the stick doesn't work.

Captain - if you're talking about roundup, it can take 2 or 3 weeks for theed to die. But it IS thorough.
