PUT THE S8000 DOWN AND STEP AWAY.

Unless you really know the ins and out of the camera the S8000 is a real bitch to work with, they made a very good camera and then put a very poor grade sensor chip in it. My one ended up in the bin after i stamped on it. For every 100 photos that camera took i would end up with about 15 i could use, the Fuji S5500 would be th eopposite way round, for every 100 that takes i only throw away about a dozen at the most.

I can not condemn the S8000 enough, you really do need to be a semi pro to get average shots out of that camera.

They are wonderful photos Fluffy - I love them. Particularly the one of the palm trees in the sunset and the moon. So incredibly good 🙂

I stayed in Coral Bay in Paphos for my honeymoon and had a fantastic time. A beautiful island. Are the ones of the mountains - Trudoos (?sp)

The first mountain picture is on a back road near Tala and Emba - the second mountain picture is the Troodos.

The Troodos just take my breath away, it is stunning. I wish we could capture on the camera the majestic views.

I have just been looking back at some of the photographs and I saw the ones taken at Sorrento. I have only been to Sorrento once and again it is beautiful - in fact all along the Amalfi coast is stunning.

We would love to go back there but would try and pick a time when they do not have all the fires. There were many times when beautiful scenes were blanketed out by thick smoke.

I would love to go back though to buy some of the jewellery, so different from what is available here, I just need to win the lottery first:^O

I noticed a few fires but didn't really think about it. I haven't got to my Amalfi coast photos yet, they will be on tomorrow's editing list!! I have so many to do and so little time as I need my memory cards for 21 days time!!
