Problem is, the Human Rights thing is rather stupid bill, as to uphold someone's human rights, chances are, you have to forego someone else's. Like that asylum seeker a few years ago, who killed that young girl by driving into and crushing her to death, then ran off, he had no tax on his car, no insurance and was banned from driving, also, his asylum application had even been rejected, however, as he had a wife and daughter living here, he was allowed to stay under the rules of the human rights bill.. where is the rights of the young girl he killed, or her fathers? Out the window, that's where!!
I don't think it should be canned or have us withdraw from it, but I do think it needs a good work-over, so that such people cannot escape justice.
