Can anybody explain in plain English just WHY there is a cost of £10,000,000 being paid for the funeral? What I mean to say is, why is an extra £10,000,000 being paid over and above the normal wages of the blokes doing security? As far as I can see, no extra equipment needed to be bought. The guys doing the security were already employed by either the Police or the MoD so what was the money for?
