I am 77 years old,and a diabetic...
yesterday I had to have my eyes checked the local clinic.
I travelled by bus to the clinic and was seen straight away.
The nurse put drops in my eyes and said at this time that
I must be escorted home after she had done the test as
my sight might not be all it should be after the test....
and made a point of telling me not to travel alone.
So I asked the receptionist to call a taxi for me an she did so.
But then charged me 30p for making the call.
surely this is not right at a NHS clinic.
