Goodnight Margie, they didn't listen, today they walked up the path with me to the car park. I said "I've warned you pair, keep away from people until after Christmas...."

The ice has retreated from most of the East side, all round the island and part of the West side closest to the bank but the South end is still completely covered in ice. What's in the North end is very thin and the Ducks have been breaking a lot of it by going through it.

What puzzles me is why 20 seagulls just hang around standing on the ice. What the heck are they doing that for? Shouldn't they be finding food somewhere?
