Good choice of subject.
The videos which have been recently released are likely to show nothing but drones, unfortunately.
Most of the public would have never seen the vast array of drones available to the military, they come in all shapes and sizes. Some are barrel shaped and some merely balloons or metallic blimps. Some are tiny enough to fit in the palm of your hand, many are spherical.
The motives for the release of this "material" are probably complex.
One of the new videos showing a "UFO" is nothing but a Batman balloon, other pilots describe seeing a "box within a sphere". The sphere is 1940s technology, a radar reflector. These are gas filled balloon which contain a mirror designed to confuse the radar into thinking a bigger craft is in their airspace.
Some of these "blimps" are not propelled by conventional fuels, they rely on compressed gas that doesn't leave a heat signature. They are able, due to being "lighter than air", to descend and ascend at astonishing speeds. Many drones of these types gather intelligence, some, in conjunction with others, are able to blow up targets.
The military are not about to admit that an alien machine is easily breaching their security and flying in a live exercise with impunity. These are training exercises which the public, and often military personnel, are unaware of. They are testing machines in real time and seeing how people react.
Drone swarms are launched from submarines as well as from conventional lorries, these are the lights which are often filmed in formations above US cities. These drones can be remotely controlled as well as operating autonomously, they are able to hold positions accurately and for fairly extended periods of time. At night, and from a distance, a group of drones holding a triangular formation would look otherwordly. Photographs are ofter blurred because most cameras don't work well under certain conditions and from such a distance.
There might be extraterrestrial visitations, but the videos released of late are nothing but conventional, and often dated, terrestrial technology.
The military are not well known for transparency, if they announce they have videos of unknown crafts, take it with a large pinch of salt. If the public were to be privy to the new technology available to the military, such as metamaterials, they would be astounded.
So, what we are about to see are drones, strange looking ones but nevertheless drones.
The military would never admit to anything able to breach their very sophisticated detection technology with impunity. Radars are now so advanced that not much could get through.
We are also lead to believe that Russian subs could never enter the Atlantic, they do and often.
When the Stealth was first seen it was often mistaken for an alien craft, the military did nothing to dispel that myth. Those triangular crafts were designed in the 1940s and eventually progressed to what we see now.
I do hope something interesting will be released, but I do have serious doubts it will.
Ask yourself, why would a highly trained pilot take a photograph of a Batman balloon and state it was a UFO?
